Mathematics Diversity Workshop

Three groups of students will be engaged in and learn from the project: incoming freshmen, upper level Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) majors, and graduate students in mathematics. The mathematics context of the project is a one-week calculus workshop that will be run by graduate students immediately prior to the start of the semester. The goal of the project is to integrate critical conversations around race and gender into the learning of mathematics to increase retention and success.
