New Start Student Leadership Experience

The New Start Student Leadership Team provides oversight, support and mentoring as vital part of the New Start experience for incoming Wildcats, the summer prior to their freshman year. Under the supervision of the Program Coordinator, and four Student Coordinators, the Leadership Team acts as the supervisors, event facilitators, curriculum developers and mentors for the program participants. The New Start Student Leadership Team receives extensive training in supervision, collaboration, conflict management, crisis management, event planning, and budgeting.
