Public Health Ambassador Program

A Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health (MEZCOPH) Student Ambassador is expected to inform, educate, and empower prospective/new students and the larger university community on the field of public health and the perspectives of students in the field. Ambassadors are expected to professionally communicate and present information about the field of public health, MEZCOPH, and the public health curriculum at various campus and community events, and to assess and resolve issues regarding the dissemination of reliable information to prospective/current students. Ambassadors also participate in weekly meetings, where they will engage in activities that build personal, professional, and interpersonal skills, and encourage reflection on how skills may be transferable between their position responsibilities and the concepts learned in the public health classroom environment.
